Education & Health Centers of America, Inc. (EHCA) recently hosted a festive holiday celebration honoring its staff and recognizing the significant contributions of its longstanding employees throughout 2024. EHCA’s holiday dinner, held in the spirit of gratitude and togetherness, showcased EHCA’s commitment to appreciating the individuals who make its mission of providing high quality reentry and veteran services to underserved individuals possible.
The gathering featured a lively atmosphere and a warm sense of camaraderie. The highlight of the evening was the heartfelt recognition of longstanding employees who have served the organization for many years, with special acknowledgment and awards given to those who have reached the remarkable milestone of 20 or more years of service. Medical Director, Dr. Stephen Manocchio, was honored with a 30-year Service Award; Tully House Director, Michael Oliver, was honored with a 25-year Service Award; Tully House Deputy Director, Ronald Morrison, was honored with a 25-year Service Award; and The Harbor Operations Manager, Omer Jackson III, was honored with a 23-year Service Award.
EHCA’s CEO, Richard McCourt, expressed his deep appreciation for the hard work, dedication, and passion of the organization’s team members. Mr. McCourt emphasized that staff dedication is the foundation of the organization’s success and acknowledged the positive impact staff continue to have on the communities EHCA serves. By recognizing the achievements and milestones of its staff, the organization not only boosts morale but also strengthens the sense of unity and purpose within the team.
In addition to the EHCA holiday gathering, EHCA leadership and staff also participated in holiday celebrations at Tully House and The Harbor, in partnership with EHCA’s subcontractor. EHCA’s participation in the facility celebrations underscored the organization’s emphasis on cultivating a supportive and appreciative workplace culture. Events like these serve as a reminder of the importance of valuing employees and fostering an environment where they can thrive both professionally and personally.
