Education and Health Centers of America, Inc. (EHCA) partnered with Indivior, Volunteers of America (Delaware Valley), CFG Health Systems LLC., and the New Jersey County Jail Wardens Association (NJCJWA) to sponsor the annual Spring Forum organized by the New Jersey Chapter of the American Correctional Association (NJACA).
The annual NJACA Spring Forum was held on April 18, 2024, at Mercer County Community College. The conference focused on addressing Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT), Medications for Opioid Use Disorder (MOUD), and Mental Health (MH) in correctional, reentry, and community supervision settings.
In addition to sponsoring the event, EHCA also sponsored 10 student tickets. EHCA collaborated with Rider University’s Assistant Professor and Lecturer, James Wojtowicz, from Rider University’s Department of Sociology and Criminology, to identify 10 students interested in attending the conference.
As advocates for education and community engagement, we recognize the invaluable opportunities such events offer to students in the field of criminal justice. By supporting these students, we aimed to foster their professional growth and encourage networking.
We thoroughly enjoyed hosting the Rider University students at the NJACA Spring Forum. We wish them the best of luck in their future endeavors and criminal justice careers!
EHCA looks forward to continuing to collaborate with Rider University’s Department of Sociology and Criminology, as well as the New Jersey Chapter of the American Correctional Association (NJACA)!
